"My son has thrived academically, is an independent thinker with a healthy self-confidence and good character. The faculty is the heart of the school, truly remarkable." • Submitted by a parent

"My daughter started in the Children's House classroom, and was gently and carefully introduced into the class. Personal attention was given to her during that time of transition, while her highly trained teacher quickly gained a sense of her most subtle qualities and strengths. She was introduced to the excellent Montessori lessons one after another in a very personalized way, based on her interests, strengths, and potential. We immediately noticed the attentiveness, personalization, and incredibly caring nature of each teacher and staff member at TMS, devoted to the progress of our child." • Submitted by a parent

"My spouse and I believe fully in the Montessori method of teaching, especially the idea of meeting the child where he is in his learning and development and not trying to shoe-horn him into a prescribed mold. This is a powerful method, in that it allowed one of my children to move with math skills as far and as fast as he was ready. It allowed another child the extra time needed to learn to read, without the pressure of trying to keep up with the group. I expect that when my older child graduates, he will be ready for algebra one in 7th grade. The school gives the children a strong foundation in math, verbal and public speaking skills. It also promotes tremendous independence and responsibility in students. But, best of all? My children’s love of learning and curiosity is still as bright and evident as it was when they entered the school as 3-year-olds. I can’t think of a better thing to say about a school than that.” • Submitted by a parent

“We chose TMS for our child because we wanted an authentic Montessori education for her, and it has been the best decision we have made." • Submitted by a parent

"The toddler program is great. Both of my children learned how to be independent and conscious of others and the environment. The children’s house program, which my children are currently in, is nothing short of amazing. My kindergartener is learning so much. He can draw a map of the world and name all the continents, his math skills are effortless and he is already working on geometry, he loves to read and brings home books each week to read to me, and his knowledge about nature is vast. My 3 year old is soaking up all the learning that is going on like a sponge.  The mixed age group (ages 3 to 6) has helped her desire to learn more." • Submitted by a Google user

"In the elementary grades, especially grades 4-6, the kids learn to organize themselves and their weekly work. By the time they graduate in 6th grade, the TMS graduates are ready to excel at ANY school anywhere (and they do!). At TMS they “teach the child to fish,”  they don’t just organize everything for them, sit them at desks, and stuff as much into their brains as will fit (like they do at other private and public schools). "The school offers a very pure Montessori curriculum (not a watered-down pre-school version) in a caring atmosphere. Academics are rigorous, but taught in a way that engages students so that they own their own learning, which lets them enjoy it. Students gain independence but also learn how to collaborate effectively. The faculty is second to none." • Submitted by a Google user

"My son and his young peer group at TMS already have developed an ability to concentrate, and they know how to write, read books, know continents and countries, have a strong understanding of numbers operations and geometry, etc. I highly recommend TMS to any parent hoping for their child’s love of learning to be nurtured and to give their child a head start.” • Submitted by a parent

"The TMS program operates true to Maria Montessori s principles and is delivered by one of the most dedicated faculty and administration staff. I am constantly amazed by the results this Montessori education has awarded my girls and all the graduates. It provides our children with a foundation of knowledge and skill sets that prepares them for higher level education." • Submitted by a parent

"From math to science to creative writing to geography – the concepts are presented in an interesting, individualized/customized manner using the Montessori materials. Students are introduced to engineering concepts, public speaking, research papers, environmental studies…..you really need to stop in to see how challenging the work is – yet how much the students LOVE it and thrive in the classroom." • Submitted by a parent

"The teachers undergo a rigorous training program that is evident in the classroom. Each classroom is a community of students who are expected to respect and teach each other. The older children in the classes have responsibilities to teach and assist their younger classmates (3-K, grades 1-3, 4-6). They are creating leaders at TMS. And my kids LOVE TMS.” • Submitted by a parent
